Specific Information
- A foreigner may import household goods and personal effects duty free under the following conditions:
- They have diplomatic status or work for an NGO
- A letter is obtained from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs verifying the owner of the goods' diplomatic status or employment with an NGO and requesting Customs to permit duty-free import
- The owner of the goods do not have to be present for Customs clearance, however, the owner of the goods' employer must be registered and issue a letter on company letterhead stating that the owner of the goods is employed in Cambodia.

Specific Information
- A foreigner may import a motor vehicle under the following conditions:
- They have diplomatic status or work for an NGO
- A letter is obtained from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs verifying the owner of the goods' diplomatic status or employment with an NGO and requesting Customs to permit duty-free import.
- All automobiles must be left-hand drive.
